About Fionn
I play cello and piano and am constantly trying to improve. I have also just picked up the banjo and am trying my best to get the hang of it. It feels weird being all the way back at the start again learning an instrument, so I am currently going through that again, which is what has made me want to teach beginners. I want to help them get over the first big hump in the road and get them on their way to be a fine cellist.

My name is Fionn Lynch and I am 19 years old and have played cello all my life. I have played in orchestras and smaller groups such as trios or quartets. I've also played on TG4. My lessons will typically be 30 minutes or an hour depending on the student's desires. I typically teach in person, but we can arrange online lessons if they are really wanted.

Fionn is a fantastic teacher. I started taking cello lessons with him at the beginning of 2023 and I have enjoyed all of them immensely. Fionn is a fountain of knowledge, he pays great attention to all the details a new learner might be struggling with while being supportive and encouraging at all times. He has been incredibly helpful the whole time, he is always friendly and patient and I really enjoy the process of learning and progressing. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher and I highly recommend him to anybody considering taking cello lessons!
