About Wilam
I am a committed Saxophone tutor with 4 years of teaching experience, and I have successfully trained around 150 students from beginners to advanced players. I believe organised learning leads to consistent improvement.
My tutoring approach is organised, clear, and progress-oriented. Each lesson has a purpose, and students always know what they are working on. I focus on strong fundamentals such as posture, breathing, tone control, finger technique, and rhythm.
Lessons include regular revision, goal-setting, and gradual skill development. I also guide students on how to plan their daily practice time effectively.
My unique skill is my ability to maintain steady progress through clear lesson structure. My goal is to help students improve confidently while enjoying the learning process.

My saxophone teaching methodology is student-focused and emphasises adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I understand that every learner is unique, so I design lessons to match their individual learning style, goals, and pace, using demonstration, listening, and hands-on practice.

I foster a positive, encouraging environment where achievements are celebrated and challenges become opportunities for growth. Lessons cover saxophone technique, musical expression, improvisation, performance skills, and theory, providing a comprehensive musical foundation.
Beyond saxophone, I teach complementary subjects including music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and ensemble performance. My goal is to nurture confident, expressive musicians with a lifelong love for music.
