About Connor
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with more than 10+ years of experience teaching students from different backgrounds including school, college, and working professionals. I enjoy making learning simple and engaging.
My teaching approach is based on communication, flexibility, and encouragement. I customise my lessons according to each student’s goals and pace. I focus on building strong basics and improving gradually.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, rhythm training, and ear development. These help students become confident musicians. I also include song learning and practical exercises.
My strength is simplifying learning and making it enjoyable. I help students build confidence, improve consistency, and develop effective practice routines.
I believe in creating a supportive and motivating environment. My goal is to help students enjoy music and grow in their piano journey.

My teaching methodology emphasises student-centred and expressive learning. I believe piano education should be engaging, personalised, and focused on developing both technical skill and artistic expression. Through effective communication, I understand each student’s goals, strengths, and challenges, allowing me to create lessons that are motivating and effective.
Creativity is central to my approach. Students are encouraged to explore improvisation, compose music, and experiment with different styles, fostering originality and building musical confidence. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, level, and learning preferences, making learning enjoyable and productive.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This integrated approach strengthens technical skills, musical understanding, and expressive ability. My goal is to help students become confident, skilled, and passionate musicians who love exploring and performing music.
