About Ivy
I hold a Master’s degree in Music Education and have been teaching piano for ten years. My journey began with classical training, but I have since explored jazz, contemporary, and popular styles. This diverse background allows me to connect with students who have varied musical interests. I believe that music should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Over the years, I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults, guiding them through different stages of learning. My patience and enthusiasm make lessons engaging, while my structured approach ensures steady progress. I take pride in helping students discover their unique musical voice and encouraging them to pursue their goals with confidence.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy composing short pieces and collaborating with other musicians. I also stay updated with modern teaching tools and digital platforms to make lessons interactive. My dedication to continuous growth ensures that students receive the best guidance. I strive to inspire learners to see piano as both an art form and a source of joy.

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop both technical skills and musical expression. I focus on building strong foundations in scales, chords, and rhythm, while encouraging creativity through improvisation and composition. Each session is tailored to the learner’s level, ensuring steady progress and enjoyment. Students gain confidence as they explore the instrument’s versatility and beauty.
Lessons begin with warm-up exercises to strengthen finger agility and improve coordination. I then introduce new pieces gradually, breaking them into manageable sections. Students are guided to understand musical notation, dynamics, and phrasing, making each piece more meaningful. I emphasize practice strategies that help learners overcome challenges and achieve fluency in their playing.
Performance preparation is an important part of my teaching. I provide opportunities for students to showcase their skills through recitals or recordings. Constructive feedback helps them refine technique and stage presence. By combining discipline with creativity, my lessons inspire learners to appreciate piano not only as a skill but as a lifelong passion.
