About Soané
My passion for botany is something that has come my entire life, I love learning everything I can about plants and then also teaching anyone I can about it!
I have been tutoring pregraduate botany students at the NWU for five years and have enjoyed every second. Labwork is essential and such a priveledge, but it can easily become overwhelming - since I have been through all of this before, I know how it feels and how important it is to have someone you can lean on and who can help you through the worst.

Hey there!
During our lessons we will systematically workthrough any specific problems you might be experiencing,and / or revise all the work for the term / semester to make sure you have it all fully understood before exams. I can teach in English as well as Afrikaans, whicheveryou feel comfortable in.
I like teaching someone a subject using certain details - small details that will help you remember the work, understand it and maybe even gain a few extra marks in exams. Sometimes just learning something from a book is not enough.
