About Mpho

Hello! My name is Mpho, and I am a dedicated and professional Accounting tutor committed to helping learners achieve their academic goals with confidence. I am currently an Honors student in Education, with a strong academic background in Accounting and experience supporting high school learners. My training in education equips me with effective teaching strategies, patience, and the ability to adapt lessons to different learning needs.

My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and results-oriented. I focus on helping students understand Accounting concepts step by step, rather than memorizing procedures. I create a calm, respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I also emphasize exam techniques, problem-solving skills, and consistent practice to improve performance.

I am proficient in English and can also provide explanations in local languages when necessary to ensure full understanding. My lessons are well-prepared, punctual, and tailored to each student’s pace and goals.

In a typical lesson, students can expect a review of challenging topics, clear explanations, guided practice, and feedback on their work. I also provide additional exercises and strategies to help students study effectively on their own.

My tutoring is mainly aimed at high school learners (Grades 8–12), particularly those preparing for tests, exams, or seeking to improve their marks and confidence in Accounting. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming for top results, I am committed to providing the support they need to succeed.

I pride myself on professionalism, reliability, and genuine care for my students’ progress. My goal is not only to help you pass Accounting, but to help you understand it, feel confident, and perform at your best.

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring is learner-centred, supportive, and results-driven. I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation in Accounting while also developing problem-solving skills and exam techniques. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, structured practice, and confidence-building support. What makes me unique as a teacher is my patience, ability to simplify complex topics, and my commitment to adapting lessons to each learner’s pace and learning style.

I am proficient in English and Xitsonga/Sepedi/Setswana (adjust to your actual languages), and I am able to explain concepts in either language to ensure full understanding.
