  • 1) When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

I began in business, but I quickly realized my strengths were in quantitative reasoning and solving logic-based problems. That led me to transition into mathematics and statistics, where the structure and clarity of analytical thinking resonated with me. From there, I moved into data science because the blend of quantitative and qualitative analysis in machine learning and AI — especially understanding patterns and real-world relationships, genuinely captivated me.
  • 2) What makes you passionate about your subject?

I’m passionate about math, statistics, and data science because they combine logic with creativity. They allow you to explore different ways of solving a problem, evaluate the reasoning behind each approach, and uncover insights that aren’t immediately visible. It’s a field where curiosity and precision work together.
  • 3) What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a “Superprof”?

What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be. I focus on understanding each student’s needs, identifying their knowledge gaps, and building a clear path to help them catch up, excel in their coursework, or get ahead of their class.
What makes me a “Superprof” is my ability to support students with structured guidance, clarity, and patience and to be part of their journey as they reach their goals and grow more confident in their abilities.
  • 4) Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

Yes, my second-year statistics professor was a major influence. He taught with patience and always grounded concepts in real-world examples, which helped me understand not only how to apply the ideas but why they matter.
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

    My keys to success are:

Consistency: show up regularly, practice steadily, and break big goals into manageable steps.

Clarity: understand core fundamentals before advancing to more complex material.

Curiosity: stay open-minded, explore different approaches, and ask deeper questions.

Objectives: define clear learning goals for each student or topic.

Requirements: determine what knowledge or skills are needed to reach those goals.

Identifying Gaps: assess where a student currently stands and map out the steps to close the gap.

In tutoring and in my own work, these principles help me stay focused, learn effectively, and help others succeed.
