I am highly qualified as a trumpeter having gained a Distinction in dipABRSM.

I have also been very successful in several prestigious competitions including being a Concerto Finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2004, winning the Texaco Young Musician of Wales in 2003, and winning the Masters Classical Concerto Prize while studying at the RCS.

- How much do you charge?

I charge £15 for half an hour or £25 for an hour of individual instrumental lessons and composition.
Lessons via Skype or FaceTime (videoconference) or other online video communication sources for are charged at £10 per half hour and £15 per hour.
A reduction in prices is available for group lessons or block bookings of one-to-one lessons.
I am willing to travel within a reasonable distance of Lincoln Centre, however I may require basic expenses for money/time spent travelling beyond this.
I am also able to give coaching/guidance via email correspondence for either theoretical or practical musical. My pricing for this would be depend on what advice/coaching is required and how much time it may take.

- Where do you teach?

I teach primarily in Skellingthorpe which is close to the City Centre of Lincoln.
As mentioned in an earlier section, I am willing to travel further afield if basic travelling expenses can be met.
If the tuition required is within about 4 miles of where I live, I would be willing to travel to your house for free.
You can also come and learn at my dedicated home studio if that is more convenient for you, so please get in touch to discuss specific arrangements.

- When are you available?

I am completely flexible with teaching time available every day of the week. Please get in touch with me to discuss specific arrangements.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I am open to teaching people of all ages, I hear far to often that people wish they could learn but consider themselves "too old." Nonsense! No one is ever to old to enjoy making music and it can be a very rewarding hobby and a useful skill.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

As mentioned previously, I conduct online tutoring either via video conference (e.g. Skype or FaceTime) or via email correspondence.
This is much more practical than it may initially sounds as all you need to make this work is a webcam and a broadband internet connection. I would be unable to tutor the piano over video conference however as I need to be able to see the entire instrument (which is bit difficult to do with a piano!) to assess technique and posture etc.
I am also able to coach for specific musical projects (exams, competitions etc.) as well as theoretical or practical musical matters via email correspondence. As mentioned previously please get in touch to discuss precise details.
