About Sophie
I am a professional dancer who has been dancing since the age of 3, learning ballet, tap and modern and as I've grown up ventured out in street and and commercial. I have been teaching for the past few years starting with children as young as 4 teaching in schools and after school clubs. I also teach an over 50s class which I love and try to get everyone involved. I am very passionate about teaching and love encouraging people to try their best and enjoy themselves.

I trained at Bodywork Performing Arts and received a distinction for a Diploma in Dance. Through my training it has taught me various different techniques in teaching and how I can adapt to people in various scenarios. I love to plan my lessons around a style of dance and then from there we would work on our technique and the important factors of the style. As the lesson progresses I usually like to put what we have learnt from the class into a short dance routine. This I find is an enjoyable way to put what we have learnt into something you can enjoy.
