About Courtney
I have been working in the dance industry as a studio instructor, dance company director, dance camp staffer, choreographer, competition judge, and dance team coach for twelve years. I have taught or choreographed in over 20 different states in the US, and have personally taught several hundred students in my classes and on my teams. Most recently I spent three years coaching Sam Houston State University's dance team, the Orange Pride.

I have been a dancer for 26 years and have dedicated the past 12 of those years to teaching in studios, choreographing across the country, and coaching competitive dance teams. I am experienced teaching and choreographing in a wide variety of styles such as jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, ballet, hip hop, pom, and kick as well as working with students from 4 years old to adults. My greatest strength and what separates me from other teachers is my ability to evaluate each student as an individual with their own unique body composition and style of movement, recognize exactly where and how they can improve, and tailoring lessons with the best exercises and concepts specifically for that student. I am very passionate about dance and believe in the life lessons it instills in students.
