About Silvanna
I am a recent graduate from UCR with a Bachelors in Arts- Dance Making. I enjoy teaching students in dance and academic homework. I tutored students for four years in Common Core Math and English for K-6th and also taught ballet, hip hop, jazz, modern and lyrical dance technique to students in an after school program. During those same four years I also taught at two dance studios teaching Hip Hop classes for students for beginner-advanced. I substituted for a time of two months for Baby Ballet and adult Ballet. During my time at UCR I was given an opportunity to be in a fellowship where I traveled to schools with an ensemble of peers for students from 4th grade to high school to watch us perform and educate them about dance and UCR Gluck Fellowship. I enjoy teaching students and making sure they grow with their education in any shape or form.

My teaching methods are set on assessing students on which they pick up on auditory, visual or kinesthetic on examples of me explaining to them the information and how they are able to explain to me what I have shown them. If one student needs two out of the three methods to understand their work that is excellent because to teach is for us to adapt to each students need.
