About Caitlin
I have been the Education Administrator/Lead Teacher at The Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, TN since 2012. I have a Bachelor of Liberal Studies Degree from Arizona State University. I began training at three years old and have spent over twenty years learning and studying all forms of dance. I began competing at six and won numerous high score awards, titles, and special awards throughout the East Coast. I trained at Northern Ballet Theater (Nashua, NH), New England Civic Ballet (Lawrence, MA), Dreyfoos School of the Arts (West Palm Beach, FL), The Harid Conservatory (Boca Raton, FL), and was a trainee at Boston Ballet. I danced multiple NUTCRACKERS (Sugar Plum, Spanish, Dew Drop, Snow Queen, Soldier Doll and Harlequin) and at eleven was the first non-company member to perform Clara with the Granite State Ballet’s Professional Company. I even got the chance to perform THE NUTCRACKER in Culiacan, Mexico in 2004. I performed as Cinderella in CINDERELLA and had the role of Hope created for me in Doreen Cafarella’s COPPELIA. I performed the Grand Pas de Deux from DON QUIXOTE, and numerous original works while a part of the Northern Ballet Theater’s Youth Ensemble. I soloed with Chautauqua Summer Intensive and the American Ballet Theater’s Summer Intensive at Tribeca Center. My focus shifted to theater in 2006 when I worked with American Repertory Theater in their production of ROMEO AND JULIET, but ballet will always be my first love and I am so thankful that I get to share my knowledge and passion with the students in the T3 program at CCP and now hopefully with all of you!

I enjoy helping students find ways to work through their trouble areas in dance. Be that balancing, turns, jumps, etc. I want them to leave our time together feeling like they have learned specific skills to help them succeed in their classes at their studios.
