I am currently an undergraduate student at Loughborough University. I studied Music at A-Level (play cello and piano to grade 8 level), and have taught piano and Music Theory/GCSE in the past.

I am currently studying Business Management at University, where in my spare time I participate in music societies, such as Musical Theatre and Choir.
I was a member of the Surrey Philharmonic Orchestra during my gap year and have participated in many musical groups during school.
I am a bubbly and approachable person who loves teaching and is extremely passionate about music!

I have learnt to make my lessons fun and engaging, whilst taking into account each individual student's needs. Having a slow processing speed myself, I am used to working with learning disabilities.
My lessons can take either the form of me suggesting what should be learnt (in what order and time frame), or I am also happy to be guided by a student with what they feel they need support on. As long as I have some notice on the topic so I can prepare, I am happy to be led by the student.
My lessons can be between 30-60 minutes long, depending on the student's requirements/age.
I have taught piano for 3 years and have taught music theory for the past year to primary school/early secondary school students (ages 5-15). I also have experience working in a nursery and primary schools, so am comfortable teaching children of all ages.
I can teach reading music from scratch and music theory up to grade 5, along with Music GCSE (I passed Music GCSE with grade 8 and received a B at Music A-Level. I also have passed my grade 5 theory, and grades 6 in both Piano and Cello).
