Teaching is fulfilling and impacting lives is rewarding.
I am a multidisciplinary designer with 8yrs of experience in running a design studio. I teach multidisciplinary design at NairoBits Trust to youths from informal settlements.
I have students who come without any knowledge of computers whatsoever. After the training, they get and are able to be employed as designers. This means that the classes work, and are practical and relevant to the market.

The classes are practical and hands-on. Covering everything from the History of design, post-mordern design, present design and the future of design.
We will work together combining the lessons to create a working product/service. This is a holistic approach in realizing the power of multidisciplinary design in product delivery.
A typical class is 2hrs, with every class starting with a recap of the previous class followed by the days class and a review of design tasks to ensure good design and nothing else.
