About Ruby
Language learning is something that I think is undervalued. Whilst I was travelling South America, being able to speak Spanish proved to be invaluable and meant that I could connect with people in a way that I wouldn't have been able to, had I only been able to speak English.

My lessons are typically am hour long however I have previously done 30 minute lessons as that is what suited the student best. I like to ask the student before the lesson what it is they would like to focus on in our lesson so that I can make sure we focus on topics that they need the most help with. I find that this encourages students to take control of their learning and encourages independence in their studies.
