About Shelby
I am a current Vanderbilt student, and I transferred from Rice University. I have been through the college application process twice now between my senior year and transfer apps. I have the college admission essay writing down, and love sharing tips, ideas, and proofreading. I also performed well on my ACT, and I am well prepared to help others with strategies. I am so excited to help students work toward their college dreams whether that be through helping with an English class, helping to perfect a college essay, or assisting in boosting ACT or SAT scores.

My lessons are fun, effective, and easy to understand. In high school, I scored a perfect score on my ACT with English and reading being what came most naturally. I love to read, write, and help others further develop their reading analytical skills and writing abilities. I really enjoy working with high school seniors on crafting college and scholarship essays. I am also skilled in ACT prep with all high school ages.
