About Zareen
Hello, My name is Zareen. I am a current University student, studying Counselling and Psychotherapy. I aim to help students who are studying Psychology for their A levels. I studied Psychology for 2 years, and despite the difficulties I had, I was able to achieve a great grade for the quite challenging subject. Psychology opens many doors for multiple career options, and thanks to my comprehension of the subject, I was able to confidently choose a course at University, that for me was enjoyable and, had a strong relation to different components contained within Psychology. I want to help students achieve high grades in this subject, as this can aid in opening different pathways within Psychology, so they can confidently choose a great career option within this field.

I have experience tutoring a different subject and achieved a grade A in Psychology for my A-Levels earlier this year. My lessons are targeted for those doing AQA Psychology for their A-Levels. Techniques and teaching methodology include useful tips for memorisation and comprehension of the topics, skills in evaluating, using self-made PowerPoints to teach different topics based on the student's requirements, working through past paper questions together, doing short quizzes to test what has been learnt, and helping with homework. Psychology past papers include writing long essays, which I will also help in teaching how to structure them if the student requires this. The topics I can aid with include Social Psychology, Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology, Biopsychology, Aggression, Cognitive and Development, Schizophrenia, Approaches and Issues and Debates. Lessons will take place on Sundays only. The time of the lesson will be discussed with the student.
