About Poppy
I am a second-year undergraduate music student at the University of Liverpool who specialises in Composition, Theory and Conducting. I have been making music for 13 years, and teaching one-on-one peripatetic music lessons for 3 years total. I am DBS checked, reliable, organised and friendly, and used to teaching a range of ages and skill levels in students. I am currently averaging a very high 2:1 (68.5) at university, and expect to graduate in the summer of 2028

Your initial lesson will focus on what you're comfortable knowing and what areas you need to work on further. Following that, I will plan future lessons around this which will change and adapt depending on your own individual progress. Lessons will be both hands-on and practical, with feedback from papers and tests provided. You will be able to track your progress clearly, and feedback will be sent both in detail and as an overview to allow you to develop your knowledge with convenience.
