About Amica

I am currently in my third year of study at the University of Cape Town, studying Philosophy, Politics, and French. I attended an IEB high school where I got As in all my subjects in matric. I have a passion for languages, reading, and writing, which is part of the reason why I love teaching. I love working with people and helping them reach their goals. I tutored French and Afrikaans at high school IEB-level in 2020, and I have helped a failing student pass Afrikaans FAL in matric.

About the lesson

I am proficient in:
- English
- Afrikaans
- French

My lessons are aimed at high school students, and anyone who is looking to learn one of the languages listed above. First lesson free.

As a teacher, I try to:
- Make my students comfortable so that we can communicate honestly about your needs.
- Adapt to the teaching style that works best for you.
- Help students in their areas of struggle (i.e. comprehension, grammar, literature, etc.).
