About Kaitlin
I have been dancing since I was 4 years old and have taught dance classes since high school. I have specified training in teaching dance classes and especially like teaching one-on-one lessons because it provides an opportunity for students to get specified feedback to help them meet their goals whatever they may be.

I can teach ballet, modern, and contemporary lessons for any skill and age level. Lesson plans will be targeted towards the students individual needs and goals and will vary depending on the style, but will include a warm up, exercises and phrases, and personalized feedback for the student. As a teacher, my philosophy is to provide students with the confidence to advocate for themselves and their needs. I believe that anyone can dance well and base my teaching in an understanding of anatomy and physiology so that techniques are taught safely and with each person's unique body in mind. Generally, I support a hands on approach to corrections, but leave it to the comfortability of the student.
