About John
I've been teaching for three years. Usually, my classes have been anywhere from 12 to 30 students. I'm used to a wide age range, but right now most of my students are just beginning college. Most of these students will end up getting A's, but not because I'm an easy grader. In my experience, if you can make literature seem a vital part of life, everyone will be more than willing to do whatever homework you put in front of them.

I'm a current professor, living in Austin, looking to help high school or college students with their English homework. I used to teach creative writing at Hunter College, in New York, but I moved to Texas this year, where I teach at Austin Community College. Right now, I have two courses in British Literature, but I'm willing to help in any and all subject matters.
Really, I just want to help people understand the literature they have to read. I will break down the work in simple language, and try to relate it to modern day experience as much as possible.
