About Laiba
Hi! I'm a current nursing student with firsthand experience navigating the demands of one of the most challenging and rewarding programs out there. I know exactly how overwhelming pathophysiology and pharmacology can feel. That shared experience is what drives my passion for tutoring and what makes our sessions genuinely different.
My approach is simple but effective: we slow down, break everything down slide by slide, and make sure nothing gets left behind. I pair this with clinical case scenarios and custom practice questions after every session, so you are not just memorizing, you are truly understanding and applying critical care knowledge. These are the exact methods I use myself, and it truly helps me so much on exams and in clinical.
You can expect our sessions to be structured, focused, and judgment-free. I'm here to help :))

My core approach centers on slide-by-slide breakdown, rather than rushing through material, I slow down and make sure every concept on every slide is genuinely understood before moving on. This deliberate pacing is paired with active recall and spaced repetition, where after working through content together, I generate practice questions tailored to exactly what we covered. In my experience, this method will engrave the information into your long-term memory.
A Typical Lesson Plan
- Warm-up recall: brief questions from the previous session to reactivate prior knowledge
- Slide breakdown: we go through material together, section by section, pausing to clarify mechanisms, connections, and clinical relevance
- Clinical case application: I present a patient scenario tied to the topic
- Practice question set: custom questions I create based on that session's content, ranging from foundational recall to NCLEX-style application questions.
What sets me apart: I've personally navigated the challenge of learning pathophysiology and pharmacology as a student, which gives me genuine insight into where confusion tends to build up.
These lessons are for undergraduate nursing students enrolled in pathophysiology, and pharmacology.
