About Maya
My name is Maya and I tutor students in English literature and biology at both GCSE and A Level. I achieved a 9 at GCSE English literature and 8 in GCSE biology both AQA specifications. I also have an A* in A Level English literature and A in A Level biology both AQA specifications. I’m currently studying midwifery at the University of Manchester with aspirations to achieve a master's degree by the end of my studies.

I’m fairly new to tutoring but I like to let students take the lead with the lessons, focusing on key areas they struggle with and offering my own studying tips to help them along their journey! I’ll also set small tasks at the end of the sessions that the student can complete between our sessions to be reviewed so your progress can be tracked and I can help you work through any problems you struggled with. We’ll spend the first ten minutes of the session reviewing contents of the previous study session and work through actual questions you may face in the exam.
