About Ivana
I have worked with various groups of students, having completed many hours of primary school work experience I have developed my adaptability and communication skills based on the individual student I am working with. I pride myself in empowering students by creating a judgement-free zone and growing their confidence both within and beyond academics. My journey in school has not always been easy but with the help of tutors and extra support I have managed to succeed.

Lessons range from anywhere between 1-2.5 hours with adjustments made for the specific needs of students (based on concentration and focus over different time periods). My main techniques used are active recall and spaced repetition. Homework is set after each lesson to consolidate lesson knowledge and allow me to identify gaps in student understanding. Lessons are aimed at primary school students preparing for exams such as 11+ and SATs, additionally I have worked with students in KS3 (year 7&8) to help them manage the jump from primary to secondary school education!

I aim to make tuition as accessible as possible, helping students enter competitive schools at a low cost! The first 30 minutes are free to ensure the student is satisfied with my teaching style and is able to express any concerns prior to booking follow up lessons whether those are individually booked or booked as a package.
