About Day

Hello! My name is Uday. I am a Finance graduate from The University of Texas at Austin and a law school applicant with extensive experience preparing for the LSAT. My highest LSAT score was a 172, and through my own preparation journey, I developed a deep understanding of the exam's structure, strategies, and common pitfalls.

I understand firsthand how challenging the LSAT can be, which is why I focus on teaching students how to think through questions rather than simply memorize techniques. My approach emphasizes logical reasoning, reading comprehension, time management, and identifying patterns that consistently appear throughout the exam. Whether you are taking your first diagnostic test or aiming to push your score into the 170s, I tailor my lessons to your specific strengths, weaknesses, and goals.

As a tutor, I pride myself on being patient, encouraging, and highly invested in my students' success. I work to create a supportive learning environment where students can build confidence, improve their analytical thinking, and develop the skills necessary not only for the LSAT but also for success in law school and beyond.

About the lesson

My prior experience as an English tutor over Zoom for students in Ukraine allowed me to experiment with effective online teaching methods, although I can just as easily translate that to an in-person setting. From my experience, I have found an error-based, self-learning approach to be the most efficient in shaping the problem-solving abilities of the student. Despite the distance between my students and me in the past, I maintained a strong bond with 3 students (18+) as I provided them with homework, detailed lessons, and tests that focused on practicality, tailored to their respective goals. Despite that being my first time tutoring, I managed to construct effective, structured lessons well in advance with the materials provided to me. I am very patient with my students as I provide them with opportunities for self-growth, straying away from simply putting questions on a sheet for them to answer.
