About Paris
I completed a master's degree in psychology (distinction) at University of St Andrews with a focus on perception, social psychology, neuroscience, and quantitative research methods. Currently I am a doctoral researcher (using a qualitative method) and a trainee clinical psychologist in the NHS. I can offer in-depth knowledge of various aspects of psychological theories, personal experiences and case examples in applied / clinical psychology, and up-to-date research findings to facilitate students' learning.
I also have an undergraduate degree in management (1:1) and years of management experience working in the hotel sector in Hong Kong, London, and Scotland. Therefore, I am fully capable of also offering management and business theories in the areas such as marketing, operations, human resources, and financial management.

My teaching method is adaptive to the pupil. I am able to demonstrate and explain ideas in simple terms to facilitate understanding, while inspire an interest in students and encourage further self-learning.
As science evolves over time, I attempt to bring in recent research findings to discuss with students and apply textbook theories to understand human psychology. My approach centres around critical evaluation of existing theories and scientific 'evidence', self-reflections, and effective academic writing.
