About Tamica
I'm Tamica Stafford, a 27-year-old lifelong learner with a deep-rooted passion for people, creativity, and meaningful connection. My journey into teaching began with a simple but powerful realization: language has the ability to open doors, bridge cultures, and change lives. I experienced firsthand how transformative learning can be, and I knew I wanted to be a part of that journey for others. I hold a C1-level Diploma in English, a TEFL certification, and diplomas in Facilitating Adult Learning Groups and Health & Safety. These qualifications have equipped me not only with strong teaching fundamentals, but also with the skills to create inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments for diverse learners. What sets me apart as a teacher is the energy, empathy, and imagination I bring into every classroom. My love for reading, drawing, and exploring new places seeps into my teaching style—whether I'm using storytelling to make grammar come alive, or encouraging students to express themselves creatively in English. I believe in active, learner-centered education that builds confidence, sparks curiosity, and empowers students beyond the classroom.
