About Raquel
I graduated from Art History by the University of Havana. Since my graduation, I have had the luck to work (and learn) in major Art Institutions in Havana. One of my biggest challenges was to curate, among a team of other amazing ladies, the collateral shows to the 11th Havana Art Biennial.
Parallely I have also developed as a freelance art critic and curator; and as an entrepreneur in general, adjusting myself to current times in Havana.
Because of my formation, I have a persistent curiosity, and the necessity to question what surrounds me or myself regularly. I train myself to be flexible and receptive, and the results are no bad.
I love indoors and outdoors almost the same. I`m devoted to reading, whether if its literature, news, essays, blogs or the shampoo instructions. From time to time I`m also devoted to movies and series. I interpret that as reading as well, for reasons I prefer to explain personally.
I love raising my dog, putting my plans to work, and storytelling: orally, by writing or even to myself.
