About Stella

Hi! I'm Dan from northern China with crystal-clear Mandarin pronunciation.

I used to work for an aircraft manufacturing company, where one of my responsibilites was International Trade. Currently, I am a full-time Chinese tutor, dedicated to helping students master the language.

When not teaching, you'll find me embroidering, drawing and paper folding. Let me show you the fun side of learning Chinese —— I also hope to bring positive energy and new changes into your life.

I have a systematic knowledge framework and use my own teaching materials to ensure the content is practical and relevant to everyday life, instead of teaching vocabulary and sentences that may not be useful for months or even years.

Basic of Chinese: Beginners friendly. We will learn Pinyin, words, phrases, basic sentence, etc. To learn step by step.

Speaking: I will teach you how to express Chinese with simple methods. You'll have plenty of opportunities to practice speaking and forming sentences on your own.

Sharing Culture: Because of my interests, I'm confident in my ability to convey my understanding of Chinese traditional culture to my students.

Empathy Shift: I will put myself in non-native speakers’ shoes, figure out what you need when learning Chinese, and find the right learning methods for you.
