About Chris
A critically acclaimed writer based in Leeds, England, I have experience in writing narratives successfully across several mediums such as radio, film and theatre. Previously commissioned by BBC Radio Leeds, as well as by several established theatre companies, my work has been produced internationally. An MA in Writing from the University of Leeds, as well as experience teaching a number of writing courses, ensures I have a strong understanding of what makes a successful story and a proven track record of using that expertise across mediums.

I have experiences teaching a number of writing courses to a wide range of students. I have been writing professionally for over six years and have an MA in Writing.
My sessions will focus on the following areas:
- Generating ideas
- The building blocks of story
- How to structure narratives
- How to create compelling characters
- How to write dialogue
- General advice about succeeding in the industry.
Lessons usually take between 60-90 minutes.
