About Brandon
Hi there, my name is Brandon Valerino and I absolutely love music. I have been a music educator for over 10 years now and I hold a single subject K-12 credential in music for the state of California. I've had the opportunity to teach in several public and charter schools, reaching thousands of students ranging from 3 years old to young adults in their late teens, as well as adults.
When I'm not in the classroom, I am producing/arranging music or practicing with my band in preparation for out tour around the pacific coast, which we do ever year. I have high technical skill in saxophone, flute and clarinet and an advanced ability in piano, synthesizer, bass, drums and singing. I also have much experience composing and arranging for many different levels of musician, ranging from beginners to professional performances.
So whether you are looking to learn a new instrument, sing or even compose your own songs - I am confident that I'll be able to help guide you in your musical journey, no matter what stage of the learning process you are in.

The curriculum to designed based off what the student's needs and goals are, which may change over time to adapt to their growth.
A comprehensive lesson plan will be sure include learning objectives (goals that student will meet by the end of the lesson), a safe environment for students to take risks and make mistakes and of course will include some fun too - after all, making music is fun!
My lessons are for any age student, and any level from beginner to advanced. What sets me apart from other educators is I draw from my career as a professional touring musician, which enhances my lessons with real world experience.
