About Aidan
I have been a student for a while myself, learning off professionals and working alongside a variety of creatives. I have also been working freelance for a while within Film/Photography & Design. I would be happy to pass on some of the knowledge I have gained from my experience.
One thing I never received from my education was a decent one to one session. A lot of my knowledge has come from self teaching. I am a good listener and enjoy helping others. I believe that from this I will be able to help you.

The introduction to the course is free and it is a quick chat covering the basics of what we will be learning. It gives both myself and the student time to know one another. It also allows me to try to understand the students main interests so that the course can be slightly tailored for the students needs.
Lessons lead from one to another. Each lesson lasts 2 hours. Students will be given a lesson on a topic then asked to produce a small piece of homework and guided on how to complete. The first hour of each lesson will be reviewing the homework and looking into how it could be improved. The second hour will follow up with another style of homework which can be reviewed and improved the following lesson.
On the first hour of the first lesson will cover the purpose of the software, the basics of the interface and the different tools or effects available.
The teachings will aim to progress the student’s creative mind-set to their full potential and once the basic learnings are complete they should have the knowledge and ability to go on to produce some interesting stuff. These software’s are a great foundation knowledge for presentation, poster design, logo’s, photo editing, editing footage and many other useful capabilities. The reason that it is good to learn as many platforms as possible is because in today’s industry you never know what kind of work can come up or what kind of tasks you might be asked to carry out. Understanding the capability of each software allows students to pick and choose what one they feel will be suitable for different types of projects. It is also good to have an early insight as it may help the student decide what it is they would like to begin to focus on more now.
