About Jayne
I am a committed and enthusiastic flute teacher with over 11 years of experience teaching diverse learners. I guide students from schools, colleges, and professional fields at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. My teaching approach is simple, organized, and encouraging.
I start with breathing techniques, embouchure formation, tone clarity, and accurate fingering before moving to advanced technical and expressive skills. Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training to ensure complete musical knowledge.
I believe consistent effort and proper guidance lead to long-term success. My unique ability is customizing lessons to suit each student’s learning style and goals. My aim is to make flute learning confident, meaningful, and enjoyable.

My flute teaching approach combines Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity to support both technical and artistic growth.
I understand that flute playing requires patience and disciplined practice. Therefore, I personalize lessons according to each student’s pace and style of learning. I demonstrate techniques clearly and provide practical exercises that gradually increase in difficulty.
Technical training includes breath control drills, long-tone practice, finger speed exercises, articulation patterns, dynamic variation, vibrato introduction, and musical phrasing. I also emphasize listening skills to improve tone quality and intonation.
Flexibility allows me to adjust repertoire based on student interests, whether classical, devotional, film, or light music. Collaboration is encouraged through interactive sessions where students actively participate, ask questions, and set musical goals.
Positivity is the foundation of my classroom. I encourage students to practice regularly and appreciate small improvements. Constructive feedback is given gently and clearly.
