About Miranda
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Studies and a Master of Music in Piano Performance. I have 10 years of teaching experience working with students of different ages and skill levels. My passion for piano started with performance and gradually grew into teaching. I enjoy helping students discover their musical abilities.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and encouraging. I adjust lessons based on each student’s pace and learning needs. I believe that music learning should feel enjoyable and achievable. I focus on building both technical strength and musical understanding.
Outside teaching, I continue performing and studying piano repertoire. I also explore different teaching techniques to improve student learning. These experiences help me keep my lessons engaging and effective. My goal is to help students build lifelong confidence in music.

My piano lessons focus on helping students build strong technical skills while also developing musical expression. I teach finger independence, rhythm control, note reading, hand coordination, dynamics, and expressive phrasing through structured exercises. Students also learn how to interpret music emotionally rather than just playing notes correctly. I use step-by-step explanations to make complex ideas easy to understand. This helps students feel confident while learning new concepts.
As students progress, lessons include duet playing, ear training, improvisation exercises, and repertoire development. I encourage students to explore creativity alongside technical learning. Practice routines are designed to improve consistency and discipline. I also include performance preparation activities to build confidence for stage playing. Feedback is given regularly to support improvement.
Advanced students work on musical interpretation, advanced repertoire, and performance refinement. I help them prepare for exams, auditions, and concerts. The focus is on developing both skill and confidence. My goal is to help students enjoy playing piano while becoming independent musicians.
