About Alisha

I am a recent Music graduate based in North West London who has been singing for 12 years. Along with being a singer, I am also able to teach piano and acoustic guitar up to an intermediate level!

In my spare time, I perform regularly around Hertfordshire and London, notably performing at Hatfield Christmas lights, St Albans Mayors Pride awards and Herts Advertiser School Awards.

I have three years tutoring experience from designing and leading music workshops to 1:1 music tuition. Notably, I have worked with music education companies such as The Rock Project, Jigsaw Performing Arts and Stagecoach Performing Arts.

I do not tend to teach grades, however, my approach to teaching allows my students to learn their instrument in the own way (all my lessons are adapted to what my students would like to get from their lessons)

About the lesson

Usually when taking on a new student, I start by assessing their current level, how fast they learn and if they are a practical or theoretical learner. I also ask what genres they enjoy listening to and what type of music/bands/songs they would like to learn. From this information, I create personalised lessons that are catered to the students needs
