About Zara
Hi! I’m a guitar tutor with 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music focused on Guitar Traditions. My musical journey combines academic study with practical experience in metal, shred, and progressive rock. These genres push technique to new levels. I enjoy guiding students through that process.
Lessons focus on building speed and control. Students practice alternate picking, sweep picking, tapping, and legato phrasing. Exercises are structured and progressive.
I welcome both young learners and adult students. Everyone has unique musical interests. Lessons are adjusted to fit each player’s goals.
Some want to master rhythm guitar. Others want to play fast solos. Both skills are valuable. Music theory helps connect ideas across the fretboard. Students learn scales, phrasing, and rhythm concepts. Practice becomes motivating and productive. Improvement comes with dedication. Together we build powerful guitar technique.
