About Caleb
With over 8 years of experience teaching Guitar, I specialise in helping college students achieve their musical goals while enjoying the learning process. My teaching style is expressive, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student’s needs, combining technique, theory, and creativity.
I use modern methods such as backing tracks, recording exercises, and improvisation challenges to keep lessons interactive and engaging. I also focus on helping students understand music theory in practical ways, allowing them to play confidently and creatively.
My lessons aim to build skill, confidence, and a love for music. I encourage students to explore different styles, experiment with new ideas, and develop their own musical identity. Over the past 8 years, I’ve guided students through challenging pieces, performance preparation, and original compositions, making each lesson productive and enjoyable.

I teach guitar with a focus on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I believe that learning music should be fun, meaningful, and personal. My lessons encourage students to explore their musical ideas, experiment with sounds, and even write their own songs. This approach builds both technical skills and artistic expression.
As a mentor, I guide students through challenges with patience and encouragement, helping them gain confidence and independence. I emphasise critical thinking by teaching students how to analyse music, understand theory in practice, and solve problems while playing.
Accountability is a key part of my approach. I help students set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate every milestone, ensuring steady improvement. Lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s interests and pace.
Beyond guitar, I also teach music theory, improvisation, and composition, giving students a well-rounded understanding of music. My aim is to inspire creativity, discipline, and a love for music that lasts a lifetime. Through my teaching, students not only learn to play but also develop confidence, independence, and a deeper connection with music.
