About Fornard

For 7 years, I have been a guitar tutor who believes deeply in the power of learning and the joy that music brings. I have taught between 150 and 200 students of all ages, including high school and college students, as well as older adults who want to explore music for the first time. My teaching journey has shown me that it is never too early or too late to learn something new. I started tutoring because I wanted to share the same excitement the guitar gave me when I first picked it up. What began as a personal dream quickly grew into a meaningful career. One of my proudest moments was when several of my students formed their own small band and performed at a community event.

Watching them play with confidence reminded me why I love teaching so much. In every lesson, I try to create a warm and welcoming environment where students feel safe to learn, ask questions, and make mistakes. I believe that progress comes from patience and consistent practice, and I guide my students with simple explanations and clear steps. My lessons are designed to be easy to follow, no matter a student's level. Over the 7 years, I have seen students grow from beginners to skilled players who can express themselves through music. These changes inspire me to continue teaching with energy and dedication. I hope to keep inspiring new learners, help them enjoy music, and support them as they discover what they can achieve with a guitar in their hands.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching guitar focuses on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe students learn best when they feel excited, so I use simple goals and enjoyable exercises to build motivation. Progress is shown through small steps, making learning smooth and encouraging. Communication is very important in my lessons. I explain things in everyday language and demonstrate slowly so students can follow easily. I listen to students’ questions and give clear guidance. Integrity helps me build trust. I am honest about what students need to work on and always respect their pace. Each lesson is prepared with care to provide real value.

Creativity helps students connect with the instrument. I include activities like rhythm games, simple improvisation, and learning songs they enjoy. This keeps lessons fun while building strong musical understanding. Along with guitar, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, and songwriting for students who want a deeper understanding of music.
