About Thea
I have 11 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a Master’s Degree in Guitar Performance. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of different ages and skill levels, helping them build confidence and practical musicianship. Sharing music with others has always been one of my greatest passions.
My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and adaptability. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to suit individual strengths and goals. Creating a supportive environment allows learners to feel comfortable while developing new skills.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing, composing original music, and exploring different guitar traditions. These experiences bring fresh ideas into my lessons and help me stay connected to music as a lifelong learner. I am committed to helping students enjoy their musical journey and reach meaningful goals.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students enjoy music while developing strong technical skills. We explore chord transitions, rhythm patterns, fingerstyle techniques, strumming control, tone production, and musical expression through practical activities. Every lesson focuses on making progress feel achievable and rewarding.
I use a combination of guided exercises, song-based learning, ear training, and technique development to create balanced lessons. Students learn how to improve accuracy while also developing creativity and confidence. Lessons are adjusted to individual goals so learners can progress at a pace that suits them.
I enjoy helping students overcome challenges and become more comfortable with their instrument. Through encouragement and clear instruction, learners develop stronger playing habits and greater musical independence. My goal is to make guitar learning engaging, enjoyable, and inspiring.
