About Hema

Hi! I’m a creative and friendly tutor who’s passionate about helping people fall in love with handwriting and brush calligraphy.

I believe writing beautifully isn’t just a skill — it’s a way to slow down, relax, and express yourself. I believe that calligraphy is a form of meditation, a way to slow down and appreciate the art of communication.

I’ve taught students of all ages and love making every class feel fun, calming, and confidence-boosting.

Whether your child needs help with handwriting or you’re an adult looking for a creative hobby, I’m here to guide you with patience, encouragement, and simple step-by-step methods!

About the lesson

My classes are designed to be fun, beginner-friendly, and full of personal attention, and personalised guidance. I provide three kinds of sessions:

1. For kids: I focus on improving letter formation, neatness, and writing confidence with consistency.

2. For school projects: I teach simple brush calligraphy styles that look amazing with little effort, and give more ideas to kids to beautify the project headings and content.

3. For adults: I offer calming sessions where you can unwind and learn beautiful lettering at your own pace, i also love to listen to you(maybe as a therapist) to provide an overall calming effect after the class.

You’ll also get practice sheets, fun prompts, and feedback from me to keep improving even outside class!
