About Christine
Sitting down for a lesson feels like grabbing a coffee before a set. I admit that I sometimes forget how hard it is to mimic a Quebec accent for the first time.
We spend our time on listening practice and building the vocabulary you need to survive a trip. I provide recorded pronunciation drills for daily practice so you can keep working on your liaison sounds. My 13 years of gigging taught me how to adjust to any room quickly. It is basically just practice and repetition until it sounds right.

Growing up in Quebec meant that French was always the primary language in my home. I spent 13 years gigging on the chanson circuit while teaching others how to express themselves.
The grammar books never capture the way people actually speak during a night out. I worked with hundreds of students ranging from curious beginners to those chasing fluency. My teaching relies on the fact that I am self-taught and comfortable with the rhythm of the language. Nasal sounds and liaisons are tricky but become natural with enough practice.
I focus on making the sounds comfortable for your mouth. My method keeps things simple and avoids unnecessary academic filler. Expect a direct approach that focuses on your actual progress.
