"You will notice that we start by shaking off the tension in your jaw and shoulders before touching a single note. It sounds simple, but proper tone and resonance require a body that is ready to move and breathe. We prioritize your specific goals, whether that involves rigorous exam preparation or perfecting a tricky musical theater piece.
Do not worry about perfection in the early stages as we focus on articulation and consistency. My approach uses my background in contemporary music to ensure you understand how to use your microphone technique effectively. We will break down every song into small sections to ensure you understand the phrasing.
I guide you through exercises for vocal range extension that fit your current ability. It is about building a sustainable instrument that lasts through every performance. We can work through your repertoire together until you feel fully prepared for the stage. Your voice is going to grow stronger with every single session."

"Growing up with Spanish as my first language meant I heard the nuance of rhythm and diction in songs before I even understood the words. While my degree is a BM Contemporary Music from AIM, my heart has always lived in the vocal booth and on stage. I have helped 313 students find their natural resonance through years of careful observation and practice. Exploring the mechanics of belting technique and vibrato control feels like a natural conversation to me.
I enjoy breaking down complex phrasing and rhythm into manageable pieces that make sense for your unique voice. Seeing a student expand their vocal range while mastering sight singing brings a real sense of accomplishment to my day. I prefer a relaxed atmosphere where we experiment with genre styling until the sound feels honest to your spirit."
