About Deborah
Do you ever find yourself struggling to make your practice sessions feel like actual music? I ensure that our time together focuses on the joy of playing rather than just rigid drills.
We work through strumming patterns and essential blues progressions to keep things moving. Soloing and improvisation are built into the flow of every single session.
Electric and acoustic technique development happens naturally as we explore different styles together. I show you how to apply theory concepts directly to the fretboard without any confusion.
My goal is to make sure you leave the lesson feeling energized and ready to play. You will find that my focus on groove makes even the toughest technical exercises feel manageable. Playing guitar should feel good every time you pick it up. Enjoyment is the primary ingredient in my teaching method.

Growing up with a guitar in my hands in Argentina defined my entire artistic path. It is a humble confession that I still get nervous before hitting the stage after nearly 2 decades of performance. I hold a BM Contemporary Music degree from AIM which gives me a solid foundation for teaching.
My work spans 13 years of performing across the vibrant Australian Latin music circuit. I have taught over 300 students including many kids and self taught adults seeking real structure.
These intermediate learners often come to me when they hit a wall with their progress. I guide them through the nuances of electric and acoustic technique with a focus on rhythm.
My approach centers on the groove above all else in music. Music theory becomes much easier when you can actually feel the pulse. I hope to help you build a lasting relationship with your instrument.
