About Alessia
What sets me apart is my ability to connect emotionally and physically with students, offering them tools to understand movement from the inside out. I bring empathy, clarity, and a genuine desire to support each dancer’s journey. My lessons are open to students at various stages—pre-professionals, advanced amateurs, and professionals—interested in refining their technique or deepening their artistic voice. I welcome dancers from diverse disciplines who are curious to explore beyond form and find new layers in their movement practice.

As a tutor, my approach is rooted in respect, curiosity, and presence.** I aim to create a space where students feel safe to explore their potential, make mistakes, and grow both technically and artistically. My teaching is influenced by my background in ballet and contemporary dance, with a strong focus on somatic awareness and authenticity of movement.
In **ballet**, I guide students to develop a solid technical foundation while respecting each body’s unique structure. I emphasize alignment, musicality, and expressive quality without forcing a standardized form. Every body tells a different story, and I help dancers build technique in a way that supports their individuality.
In **contemporary**, I draw from improvisation, floorwork, and elements of Gaga to awaken sensation, adaptability, and creative freedom. My lessons often include guided explorations, set material and tools to foster both internal connection and external expression.
A **typical lesson** begins with a mindful warm-up—activating breath, joints, and awareness—followed by structured technical exercises and a creative or choreographic section.
