About Juan sebastian
I am Juan Sebastian Torres, an instrumental music student with an emphasis on violin at the Music Conservatory of the National University of Colombia. My experience with the violin has been like love at first sight. I've been with this beautiful instrument for 7 years. My process, which has been really fast, has allowed me to find both immense happiness and the opportunity to play with world-class orchestras and on the best stages in Colombia and the world. I have had the pleasure of playing with groups such as the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America in 2017 at the Julio Mario Santo Domingo major theater. With the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra in 2018 at the León de Greiff. In Bogotá I have been able to step on the best theaters, those already mentioned and some like the Colón theater, with the Symphony Orchestra of the National University of Colombia, the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Theater. And many more. I had the joy of belonging to the Young Philharmonic of Colombia in its 2022 season, playing alongside Andrés Cepeda and with this orchestra doing two tours, one national, in Bogotá and Medellín, and another internationally in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Where a program of great difficulty was presented. I had the opportunity to play in the most famous and important symphonic music venues all over the planet, such as the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Halle 207 in Rostock, Kölner Philharmonie in Cologne, Kultur - Kongresszentrum Liederhalle in Stuttgart, Concert Hall in Freiburg, Rosengarten in Mannheim, Konzerthaus in vienna the musical capital of the world, the Kurhaus in Wiesbaden, a chamber music project at Eberbach Abbey within the framework of the Rheingau Music Festival, and finally at the summit of symphonic music at the Concertgebow in Amsterdam .

As a conservatory musician, I will give you absolutely all the necessary tools for your development as a violinist. No matter your level, because with me you will stand out!
-As a priority I will focus on your goals and musical tastes, if you have the basis or not to find the right method unique to you.
Knowing your expectations, I will focus on building, on the one hand, a safe and solid technique, with good posture, aimed at facilitating and advancing as quickly as possible based on the best and most advanced resources specialized in this. In the same way I will give you the theoretical tools that will allow you to read and learn repertoire on your own. The construction of a good tuning, solfeggio and rhythmic sense is essential.
-For students with previous bases I can help them take their interpretation to another level, with university preparation, for undergraduates. My international orchestral experience allows me to be at the forefront of the best and latest knowledge in this discipline.
-Clearly I can offer you both face-to-face and virtual classes, in my space or at home, because finally my only purpose is to offer you everything so that you are able to make music of the best quality when and how you want.
