About Avi
My name is Avi! I'm a pop music student at Western. If you want to learn the keys from me, there are a couple things you should know: First, I'm great at showing up on time for things. Punctuality is the key to victory. Second, I've got great teaching experience. I worked as the musical director at a summer camp, helping both groups of kids and individual kids to improve at whatever instrument they could get their hands on. Third, music is my life. My true passion is passing my love of music onto others, which I'll hopefully be doing for you!

I have worked with kids in music for a while now, having been musical director at a summer camp for a few years. Beginner lessons are my specialty, but I can teach up to intermediate. Whether I'd be teaching piano, keyboard, or synth, I'm a firm believer in taking a one hand first approach, so that the student learns about the instrument instead of just diving straight into it. Learning right is better than learning quick.
