About Susan
I am an Earth Science teacher with 36 years of experience in high school and private special education setting. I love my subject area and am a very hands-on teacher. I have a Masters in General Science Education and 36 credits towards a Masters in Special Education. I have tutored elementary and high school students for 4 years and also worked in helping adults work towards passing their GED exam.

I have tutored elementary students in Math and reading as well as helping young adults and older adults in their studies for the GED exam. I tailor my classes according to the level of the student. I love to show demonstrations to the students as I explain a specific concept so that they are not only hearing the information but, also visualizing what is happening. I also leave time for questions. I am a very patient teacher and will re-explain the concept as many times as the student needs until the concept is understood.
