About Elise
My interest in Physics began from a deep curiosity about how the universe behaves according to consistent natural laws that can be explained through logic and mathematics. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Applied Physics and dedicate my career to helping students understand scientific concepts in a clearer and more meaningful way. Over time, I realised that many students struggle not because Physics is difficult, but because it is often taught in a way that feels disconnected from real understanding.
Over the past 10 years, I have worked with learners from different academic backgrounds and helped them overcome fear of Physics by breaking complex topics into simple, structured explanations. I use visual reasoning, real-life examples, and step-by-step problem-solving methods to make abstract concepts easier to understand. My teaching approach emphasises conceptual clarity first, followed by application and practice so that students develop both understanding and confidence.
My ultimate goal is to help students become independent scientific thinkers who can approach any Physics problem with logic rather than fear. I want learners to develop curiosity about how the physical world works and build the ability to connect theory with real-life applications. With strong foundational understanding and consistent practice, students become capable of excelling in academics, competitive exams, and future careers in engineering, research, data science, and technology-driven industries where analytical thinking and problem-solving are essential skills.

My Physics lessons are designed to help students understand how natural laws govern motion, energy, forces, and the behaviour of matter through clear reasoning and structured explanations. I teach mechanics, thermodynamics, waves, optics, and electromagnetism using step-by-step methods that connect mathematical formulae with real-world physical phenomena. Students learn how scientific principles are derived, interpreted, and applied in practical situations rather than memorised in isolation.
Each lesson is carefully adapted to the learner’s academic level and pace of understanding. Beginners focus on units, measurements, basic formulae, and introductory numerical problem solving to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners strengthen conceptual clarity, derivations, and multi-step problem-solving techniques. Advanced students work on complex numerical applications, analytical reasoning, and exam-oriented strategies that require deeper understanding of physical systems. Regular practice sessions ensure improvement in accuracy, speed, and scientific confidence.
My goal is to help students develop a long-term understanding of Physics where they can confidently analyse problems, interpret physical situations, and apply scientific reasoning independently. Through consistent practice and conceptual clarity, learners become capable of handling advanced academic challenges in engineering, research, and technology fields where Physics plays a foundational role in innovation and real-world problem solving.
