About Colin
I've taught computer science to students as young as 2nd grade to as old as freshman year of college for 4 years now. I love teaching this subject and giving students the opportunity to create a program or product that is unique and special to them!
Why do I teach?
I love giving individuals the resources and power they need to thrive. I love experiencing each and every exciting moment with my students whether that be frustration from an error in your code, the "Aha!" moment when the concept clicks in their head, to the celebration when a program works and we get to show their friends and family. Each of these moments are what makes teaching special and makes me love what I do.
I hope after my lessons you continue to grow and accomplish great things with or without me.

I believe the best way for someone to learn is by experiencing the subject and concepts themselves! Computer Science is a rapidly increasing and competitive industry that offers plenty of benefits. I will help you get that edge in class so you feel comfortable and confident in what you're learning. I offer lessons for those who are taking a computer science class in school (Elementary, Middle, High School or Freshman/Sophomore College level) or those who wish to learn and advance their knowledge outside of the classroom.
I will design lessons specifically for you with plenty of examples, resources, and practice projects. We can go over your homework or work on a personal project. You get to decide! I teach for any and all ages ranging from Scratch for the newer students to Python and Java for the more advanced ones.
I enjoy connecting with my students and creating an environment where they feel comfortable and confident to learn and thrive!

Excellent! As a former student, I had a good experience with Colin. He would ask questions to help me think and generate ideas.
