About Arden
I hold a degree in Computer Science and have been teaching programming and data systems for nearly a decade. My background bridges education and software development, allowing me to bring practical relevance to every topic I teach. I enjoy simplifying complexity — translating abstract systems into human logic that anyone can understand. My goal is to help learners feel empowered, not overwhelmed, by technology. I stay updated with evolving tools like AI, Python frameworks, and data visualisation, ensuring my teaching reflects current industry needs. Students learn not only how technology works but why it matters in shaping the modern world. To me, computer science is creativity expressed through logic. I help learners see that coding is not just about machines — it’s about building ideas that make life smarter and more connected.

Every computer science lesson starts with problem-solving at its heart. I guide students to understand the principles behind what makes technology work — from logic gates and algorithms to data flow and optimisation. Rather than memorising syntax, learners gain fluency in computational thinking. My lessons integrate both theory and practice. We explore key concepts in programming, database management, and AI through small projects and real-world simulations. This allows students to see immediate applications of what they learn. I encourage creative exploration — building small programs, debugging, and analysing outcomes. These exercises sharpen logic and build technical independence, empowering learners to approach challenges confidently. Collaboration and reflection are also vital parts of my sessions. Students are encouraged to think aloud, share methods, and compare code efficiency, fostering teamwork and deeper understanding.
